Drive to Gyantse (3950 m); Sightseeing: Gyantse Stupa and monastery,

Drive to Shigatse (3900 m); Sightseeing: Tashilumpo Monastery and local bazaar (B)
Day 06
Drive to Old Tingri via Shakya Monastery and stay in a camp (B & D)
Day 07
Trek to Rachu valley; stay in a camp (B, L, & D)
Day 08
Trek to Zambuk valley stay in a camp (B, L, & D)
Day 09
Trek to Rombuk valley via Namla Pass (5200 m) ; stay in a camp (B, L, & D)
Day 10
Trek
to Rombuk monastery and then to Everest Base Camp; stay in a camp (B, L, & D)
Day 11
Drive to Old Tingri and then to Zhangmu and stay (B)
Day 12
Drive to Friendship bridge at Nepal/Tibet border; meet the Nepali guide and then drive to Kathmandu. (B)
